An Extreme Heat Warning continues until 8 pm for coastal Mobile and Baldwin counties. A Heat Advisory is in effect for much of central and all of southern Alabama into this evening.

Heat Index values will get as high as 108 in the advisory area and 115 near the coast.

Storms are forecast to develop in the Marginal Risk area and likely form into clusters and/or short line segments this afternoon and into the evening.  A few storms will produce wind gusts from 40-60 mph, which could down trees and power lines.  The storms will quickly dissipate between 10 pm and 12 am.
