Showers ahead of a strong cold front will enter the northwestern portions of the state Wednesday morning and spread mainly across the northern half during the afternoon and evening hours. As the cold air with gusty winds from 15-25 mph spreads southward during the evening, a few snow flurries may occur in the northeastern sections east of I-65 and north of I-20. No impacts will occur and total liquid precipitation amounts will be 0.25 inch or less.
Low temperatures by Thursday morning will be in the 20s and 30s. High temperatures on Thursday will be in the 30s across the northern half and lower to middle 40s southern half but will feel colder with gusty winds of 15-25 mph continuing. Areas north of I-20 may struggle to get above 32 degrees.

Low temperatures by early Friday will range from the teens north to 20s elsewhere. After a brief warmup to near seasonal readings Friday afternoon into early Saturday, another frontal system with very cold air will move through the state Saturday afternoon and evening. Little to no precipitation is expected at this time.

Highs Saturday will range from the 40s north to 50s south with lows Sunday morning mainly in the 20s. Sunday will be cold with highs from the 30s north to lower 50s south with lows Monday morning from the mid-teens north to middle 20s south. A slow warmup will likely occur beginning next Monday afternoon into the middle of the week.
