…Marginal Risk Continues today with no significant forecast changes since yesterday…

Precipitation has ended early this morning across the northern half of the state and will end over the southern half by early evening.

A few thunderstorms will likely develop from mid to late morning through the afternoon south of I-85 and generally near and east of I-65, where instability and wind shear will be high enough to support some severe storm development.

Low temperatures both tonight and Monday morning will be in the 30s and 40s, with high temperatures Sunday in the 50s and 60s. A warming trend will occur Monday through next Thursday with highs in the 60s and 70s. Overnight lows will be in the 40s and 50s Tuesday morning and in the 50s the remainder of the week.

The next chance of precipitation appears to be next Thursday into Friday.
