An Extreme Cold Warning and Cold Weather Advisory are in effect through 9 am today near and south of a Livingston – Montgomery – Auburn line.

After a cold start this morning, temperatures will rise into the 40s statewide. Abundant sunshine will occur north of I-59, with gradual clearing of clouds south of this through the afternoon.
Low temperatures tonight will again be cold with upper teens to middle 20s. Highs Friday will range from the upper 30s north to lower 50s south.
Low temperatures Friday night will be in the teens and 20s with highs Saturday from the mid 40s to lower 50s.
Low temperatures Saturday night will mainly be in the 20s with highs Sunday from the upper 40s to lower 50s.
Temperatures from Sunday night through at least Tuesday are forecast to remain above freezing with lows mainly in the mid to upper 30s and high temperatures in the 50s to lower 60s.
An upper-level disturbance will bring scattered to numerous showers (no winter precipitation) to the state from Sunday night through Monday afternoon. Total rainfall will be one inch or less. Another system will likely bring rainfall to AL Wednesday evening into Thursday.
