More Severe Weather Likely Tonight

CLANTON – Wednesday, 8:30 pm June 14, 2023 

A couple of severe thunderstorms will continue in far southern Alabama through the evening.  The next wave of severe storms will enter the western portions of the state between 11 pm and 1 am and move southeastward throughout the night.  Damaging wind gusts, hail and torrential rain will again occur.  The tornado threat has greatly diminished for the rest of the night. 

Yet another wave of storms will occur across central Alabama between 8 am and 12 pm, moving southward during the afternoon.  Damaging wind gusts, hail and torrential rain will again be possible between 1 pm and 8 pm mainly south of Hwy 80 – I-85.
