A line of showers moving into south Alabama is forecast to intensify into a line of thunderstorms by late morning into the afternoon south of Hwy 80/I-85. A few damaging wind gusts are the main threat, but a tornado or two are possible east of an Andalusia – Troy – Eufaula line.

North of Hwy 80/I-85, severe storms will not occur. Total rainfall across the state will range from 0.5 – 2 inches which will not cause any significant flooding issues.
Low temperatures will be in the lower to middle 30s north of Hwy 80/I-85 Saturday morning. Low temperatures Sunday morning will be in the middle to upper 20s north of I-20 and upper 20s to lower 30s south of I-20 and north of Hwy 80/I-85. Low temperatures Monday morning will be in the middle to upper 20s as far south as Hwy 84 in south Alabama with middle 30s along the coast.
