Divisions The Alabama Emergency Management Agency employs a staff of experts in emergency management who work passionately to help families plan, prepare and respond in the case of disaster. Each division works in tandem to ensure the development of policies and programs for emergency management at the federal, state and local levels. - Operations Division
The Operations Division consists of the Response and Recovery Branch that includes establishing statewide mutual aid system, maintaining State Emergency Operations Center, and coordination with Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD).
