 | |  | Divisions Operations Division The Operations Division consists of the Response and Recovery Branch that includes E-9-1-1 coordination, establishing statewide mutual aid system, maintaining State Emergency Operations Center, and coordination with Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD).
Operations Division is responsible for maintaining the State Emergency Operations Center on a 24 hour basis. The scope of activities in this division includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Provides 24 hour Duty Officer capability
- Administers state/federal programs and assists local programs to enhance local Emergency Operation Centers (EOCs) and Disaster Field Operations
- Develops and coordinates the Operation Division portion of the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) and submits finalized EMPG accomplishments for agency and local EMA programs
- Provides an assessment tool to counties/local governments evaluate their emergency management program
- Manages State and Local Agreement funds
- Administers state/federal disaster programs under a Presidential Disaster Declaration that includes assistance to individuals and families and also disaster infrastructure assistance to local governments.
- Maintains coordination with existing mutual aid groups
